Braun Strowman on AEW and Fitting Wrestling Into His Schedule

Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman)

The former Braun Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) has been in the news a bit lately. Most recently, he was reportedly seen speaking with Impact Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore. And now, the former WWE Universal Champion took some time to discuss All Alite Wrestling, as well as how a potential run with the company would fit into his schedule.

Speaking with SI All Lions, Scherr said he’s spoken with his agent regarding a potential run with AEW. Of course, it all depends on his schedule, and how he can fit wrestling and his other projects into his day-to-day goings-on.

“We’re just trying to find a fit now, where everything kind of will work together, since now, there’s so many things that I’m working on in my personal life,” said Scherr. “I don’t have as much time to devote to the full-time schedule to wrestle now.”

Scherr continued, “So it’s trying to find somewhere where I’ll be able to land in there to show up, have fun and entertain the people, but still be able to work on my side projects along the way.”

Since being released from WWE, Adam Scherr has been working on other endeavors outside of wrestling, such as special appearances. That said, he has gotten in the squared circle, facing off against and defeating EC3 at the Free the Narrative II pay-per-view.

The WWE machine requires a massive time commitment from its talent. As such, WWE wrestlers often devote a lot of time to the company. Since his departure, Scherr has obviously been enjoying partaking in different projects, so it’ll be interesting seeing how he approaches wrestling, whether he signs with AEW, Impact Wrestling, or another promotion.
