Kyle O’Reilly’s WWE Contract Is Set to Expire Soon

It’s being reported that NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly’s contract with WWE is expiring sometime next month. The news comes courtesy of PWInsider’s Mike Johnson. An exact date has yet to be revealed, but there’s also no word on whether or not O’Reilly will be re-signing with WWE.

Kyle O’Reilly debuted at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III alongside reDRagon tag team partner Bobby Fish and Adam Cole, both of whom are now signed with AEW. The trio formed the Undisputed Era stable, which later went on to feud with and ultimately recruit Roderick Strong. All four men were mainstays of Ring of Honor prior to signing with WWE, but their time in NXT was easily one of the biggest periods for the brand as it saw them dominate the championship scene and be a part of some memorable angles.

Most recently, Kyle O’Reilly has remained on the NXT brand, now teaming with rookie Von Wagner. O’Reilly was originally scheduled to be a part of the NXT Championship fatal four-way in the debut episode of NXT 2.0, but he was removed from that match and replaced by Wagner.
