Bobby Fish Alludes to Teaming with Kyle O’Reilly in the Future

Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly - NXT Tag Team Champions

We previously reported that Kyle O’Reilly’s WWE contract is coming up next month. There are still no major updates on that front, so we’ll have to wait a little while to see what the former member of the Undisputed Era ultimately decides.

That said, O’Reilly’s former UE teammate and reDRagon tag team partner Bobby Fish recently signed with AEW. This has led to some folks speculating that it may only be a matter of time before we see a reunion.

Speaking to PWInsider, Bobby Fish alluded to teaming with Kyle O’Reilly again at some point, though he did note that he’s currently just having a great time in AEW and taking things as they come:

“There’s a certain dance partner who most people would equate me to, and it would be difficult to think of myself in a tag scenario long-term and not see that dance partner. So there’s nobody in particular, but I mean I’d be up for a tag situation… whatever is required of me. Like, I’m just enjoying all of this and everything that AEW brings, and the opportunities just keep presenting themselves, and I got to thank Tony Khan for that. And I hope that they just keep coming. Whatever they are like, I’m ready to roll.”

Following the Undisputed Era split and his feud with Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly started a singles run that seemed like it should’ve by all accounts culminated in an NXT Championship or NXT North American Championship victory. That run has seemingly been halted as O’Reilly is now regularly teaming with rookie Von Wagner.

Could it be a matter of time before we see the reunion of reDRagon in AEW? If so, that would be a major get for the company’s tag team division.
